This Centennial homeowner wanted to replace their outdated deck and solve a persistent issue with backyard sun exposure. The project began with a full demolition of the original wood deck and removal of existing concrete to prepare for a more permanent solution.
The new patio cover was designed and built to integrate cleanly with the home while providing effective protection from the sun. Natural pine tongue-and-groove ceiling details and strong Douglas fir glulam beams gave the structure both visual warmth and structural integrity.
The result is a covered outdoor space that enhances the home’s function and livability. With improved shade, year-round use is now possible, making this a comfortable and inviting place to relax or entertain.
